Replacing the difficult to source E6000 is a glue that I have tested over the last 6 months and have found it to be every bit as strong as E6000, so it is a perfect choice for Friendly Plastic and much more.  It sticks all sorts of non porous surfaces together and really doesn’t come apart at all.
